According to the American Psychological Association, “Psychologists help people of all ages live happier, healthier and more productive lives.” Through the use of various psychotherapy methods and collaborative treatment measures, my patients develop life-changing habits to help them cope with any of life’s various obstacles. My therapy sessions are designed to dissect personal issues and provide patients with effective tools to help them see the glass half full instead of half empty.

WHAT TO EXPECT DURING YOU FIRST SESSION

Exceeding Expectations One Client at a Time

When you arrive, I will introduce myself to you and you will complete the intake paperwork (if you have not already).  I will ask you for your ID card and insurance card.  When you are complete with the paperwork, we will begin our session.  The first session is an informational session.  I will ask you many questions and you will ask me questions.  This helps to build a therapeutic relationship and for me to get a sense of how to assist you.   I believe one of the most important steps of the therapeutic process is building a therapeutic relationship.  This session will also give you the chance of seeing if I am the right therapist for you.
